The RRA PDS Pistol is the first of a new generation of firearms employing RRA's patent-pending Piston Driven System (PDS). Employing a purpose-designed bolt carrier, an adjustable gas piston and an over-the-barrel spring and guide rod arrangement, the RRA Piston Driven System is able to completely do away with the traditional recoil system associated with AR-style firearms, making for an extremely versatile weapon platform. The RRA PDS Pistol's full length top mounting rail from the rear of the receiver to the regulator housing, allows for the flexible placement of numerous optics, lights, lasers and other accessories. The folding ambidextrous, non-reciprocating charging handles, may be use singly or in unison to charge the RRA PDS Pistol. The rear receiver adapter features a MS1913 rail and regulator housing for attaching sling mounts or weapon lights. The design of the upper receiver and guide rod base prevents gas blow-by to the back of the receiver. Two position adjustable regulator is conveniently positioned on the right side of the regulator housing. Chambered for 5.56 & .223 caliber with an 8" chrome moly barrel & 1/9 twist. Features hogue rubber pistol grip, aluminum tri-rail handguard with 3 ladder covers and a 2 stage trigger. Includes hard case, manual and one 30 round magazine.
