The new Vltor Lower Receiver Assembly is machined from a 7075 forging and uses milspec lower parts, it is marked with the well known Vltor "V" and Gladius on the right side of the magazine well. The Vltor lower receiver also features unique grip enhancing cuts on the front of the magazine well, an oversized mag release button and the Vltor "side saddle" sling plate - featuring three positions to mount a quick disconnect sling swivel. The lower receiver comes complete with a Vltor receiver extension tube, standard carbine buffer, single stage trigger, spring and A2 grip.
