The SLR (Slim, Light Rail) was designed as a slimmer handguard that can accept most aftermarket piston systems.  This rail is 5/8" slimmer than YHM's current series of handguards.  The new profile of the SLR allows for most piston systems to be used while maintaining a top rail that co-witnesses with the upper receiver.  The top rail has been redesigned to create one continuous picatinny rail between the upper receiver and the handguard.  This rail can also accept the customizable rails that YHM currently offers.  Rail can be mounted with out any special tools required.

This free floating forearm features a smooth design for a more comfortable grip while incorporating a full length top rail. The forearm also features three 2.5" rails at the end of the forearm to allow the mounting of lights, lasers, and other accessories. This forearm accepts YHM end caps and uses anti-rotation screws to ensure the forearm stays solid, even under severe use.
